Tyler is a graduate student who analyzes the statistical distribution of nucleation in a crystal melt to learn more about the factors of nucleation. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2023 and is continuing to perform research in the lab.

Sydney is a senior undergraduate student who hopes to further explore inorganic chemistry in graduate school.  She is working on analyzing data to develop the TZT of solution crystallization through POM and DSC measurements.  Sydney spends her time outside of lab reading, rock climbing, and snuggling her cat, Zinc.

 

 

Elsie Howard

Elsie is a sophomore undergraduate student investigating the solution structure of aqueous salt solutions by measuring thermal responses using DSC, observing structural features using X-ray data to generate D-VT-PDFs, and measuring chemical shifts as a function of temperature and concentration.

 

Lauren Rogers

Lauren is a junior undergraduate student who is working on data analysis for the measurement of crystal growth rates as a function of concentration and temperature. She wants to go to graduate school for inorganic or analytical chemistry.

 

Elena Shipp

Elena is learning on the nucleation project, in which she observes the nucleation wall of anthracene.
